Day 2 started with another morning of glorious sunshine as the RWD Auto Tour team and partners gathered for a delicious breakfast and briefing.  Some tinkering was required for the more ‘advanced years’ vehicles amongst the fleet, with oil checks and tyre checks where necessary it was quite a sight (and sound) to see the convoy head off for the morning’s driving south, winding through the French country side to Burgundy to a beautiful Abbaye for an al fresco lunch.

Due South for Night 2 the skies were beginning to look a little ominous.  Those with soft tops or not top gauging whether to get roofs up and waterproofs on!  Heavens open and a storm over head made for  quite a dramatic arrival at the next stop.  Vehicles discovering leaks they didn’t know about, parked under cover and guests got ready for the evening ahead.  An exclusive sampling of Hambledon’s new Classic Cuvée Rosé (still not in the public domain), a Black Tie Soirée and a beautiful gift placed everyone’s room from long-standing Tour partner. – MarineGuard.
